Full payment is required to secure a reservation for all long weekends and peak season holiday periods.

These include Easter, Summer holidays, Peppy Parkival, all long weekends, April and September School holidays.

Deposits of 50% are required in LOW AND OFF season.

A 3-night minimum stay is required for all campsites and studios over Peak weekends. (Friday-Monday) Over Easter a 4-night minimum is required. (Thursday-Monday).

During the Summer holiday from mid-December to mid-January there is a 4-night minimum stay. Requests for shorter periods may be accompanied if there is a small gap between other reservations.

PAYMENTS FOR ACCOMMODATION/SITES  This can be done by the following ways.

Reception staff can securely charge your credit card token in our RMS booking system, you can pay via credit card over the phone or by following the links on the client portal. Your credit card is saved securely via RMS.

•  We reserve the right to vary the surcharge in accordance with the merchant fees and bank charges at any time without prior notice.

Check In/Out POWERED AND UNPOWERED SITES

• Check in is at 1pm and checkout time is 10am, if you require a different time please contact the office and we will do our best to accommodate this. Early check-ins are only offered in OFF peak season, Thanks.*Early check-ins before 1pm in the off season will incur a $20 early fee (and only if sites are ready for check-in, we have a lot of grass that the gardeners care for).*Late check-outs after 10 am will incur a $20 late fee.

Check In/Out STUDIOS

Check in is 2pm and check out time is 10am, if you require a different time please contact the office and we will do our best to accommodate this. A small fee may be charged if you require early arrival or late departure.

ARRIVING OUT SIDE OF OFFICE HOURS: Full payment is required for Peppy staff to leave check in information for you.

Pets

There is abundant wildlife, so we have chosen to keep domestic pets out of Peppermint Grove Beach Holiday Park. We are trailing Pets for the winter months: June, July, August, September (not including peak holidays.)

CANCELLATION

A cancellation or amendment to booking in PEAK season must be made with 28 day’s notice for a $30 booking fee, inside 28 days payment is forfeited.

A refund or credit minus the booking fee will be given to you if the cancellation is outside 28 days.

A cancellation in LOW or OFF season must be made with 1 weeks notice for a $30 booking fee.

No refunds for early departure.

Group reservations must have cancellation completed for each individual site and / or studio.

If your reservation was made online with pre-payment and you wish to cancel, a refund can only be given with 28 day’s notice in writing with a booking fee of $30 applicable.

* In the event you need to cancel your booking please inform us in writing.

In the case of a last minute COVID cancellation due to government mandated lockdowns or regulations: You choose to:

If you have paid any amount, then we can:

Transfer the whole amount to another date or into your client account to use at a later date within 12 months.

HOUSEKEEPING;

WE EXPECT GUESTS TO BE KIND, RESPECTFUL AND TO THOROUGHLY ENJOY THEIR STAY.

To help with this, we have some simple housekeeping points:

• Please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 7am.
• Drive 8km or less whilst in the park, lots of kids around!
• Take care of the natural environment.
• PGBHP has many grassed areas for camping and playing. These take time and effort to maintain, there is sometimes noise associated with this maintenance however we try very hard to minimise this. As the grass is pretty lovely, tarps and coverings that are not friendly to grass are not allowed. We recommend the ‘grass friendly’ camping mats.
• There is no smoking in shared areas, such as kitchens, playgrounds and BBQ areas or near places of sleeping.
• The nature playground is a shared space for young and old children, where parents should keep an eye on their family. It is a space to be enjoyed after sunrise and before sunset.
• Please be aware that although we try and accommodate preferred sites these are not guaranteed.
• Bikes are encouraged in Peppy, but helmets are to be worn to protect our young ones.
• Electric Scooters please be aware your speed limit is 8km/hr or less.
• The CAMP KITCHEN is for everyone’s use, please look after it. The KITCHEN and DINING ROOM is for STUDIO guests only.
• The road to the wastewater treatment plant is CLOSED to the public. There are several private properties near the park and these are not thoroughfares. The only access to the BEACH is via the main entrance.
• Studios should be left in a satisfactory state with no damage, or a cleaning fee may be charged.
• After hour call outs (except for emergencies) are not advisable as this encroaches on precious family time. After hours call, such as lost keys for studios, will incur a $50 call out fee.
• Our main aim when you re-book with us is to ensure that you are situated with your friends and family. We also make sure that the site is appropriate for your camping gear. We take into account the sites and areas you request and we do our very best to meet these requests.Unfortunately, it is not always possible to meet specific requests and we feel it is important to notify you of this so you are aware of our policy.

  When you book a site or studio then this is what is guaranteed: the accommodation.

  Special requests for certain sites etc are not guaranteed.

PGBHP team are more interested in finding out about your day and enjoying a friendly chat rather than having to put on their policemans hat sternly reminding you about the above information.
