Booking Conditions

Full payment is required to secure a reservation for all long weekends and peak season holiday periods.

These include Easter, Summer holidays, Peppy Parkival, all long weekends, April and September School holidays.

Deposits of 50% are required in LOW AND OFF season.

A 3-night minimum stay is required for all campsites and studios over Peak weekends. (Friday-Monday) Over Easter a 4-night minimum is required. (Thursday-Monday).

During the Summer holiday from mid-December to mid-January there is a 4-night minimum stay. Requests for shorter periods may be accommodated if there is a small gap between other reservations.

 PAYMENTS FOR ACCOMODATION/SITES IN PEAK SEASON/PEAK WEEKENDS. This can be done by the following ways.

Reception staff can securely charge your credit card token in our RMS booking system, you can pay via credit card over the phone or by following the links on the client portal. You may also choose to pay with cash.

If you pay by Mastercard or Visa credit or debit card, there will be a surcharge of the total transaction.

We reserve the right to vary the surcharge in accordance with the merchant fees, RMS fees and bank charges at any time without prior notice.

Check In/Out POWERED AND UNPOWERED SITES

Check in is at 1pm and checkout time is 10am, if you require a different time please contact the office and we will do our best to accommodate this. Early check ins are only offered in OFF peak season, thanks.

• Early check ins before 1pm in off peak season will incur a $20 early fee (and only if sites are ready for check in, we have a lot of grass that the gardeners care for)
• Late check outs after 10am will incur a $20 late fee

Check In/Out STUDIOS

Check in is 2pm and check out time is 10am, if you require a different time please contact the office and we will do our best to accommodate this. A small fee may be charged if you require early arrival or late departure.

Pets

There is abundant wildlife, so we have chosen to keep domestic pets out of Peppermint Grove Beach Holiday Park.

CANCELLATION

A cancellation or amendment to booking in PEAK season must be made with 28 day’s notice for a $30 booking fee, inside 28 days payment is forfeited.

A refund or credit minus the booking fee will be given to you if the cancellation is outside 28 days.

A cancellation in LOW or OFF season must be made with 1 weeks notice for a $30 booking fee.

No refunds for early departure.

Group reservations must have cancellation completed for each individual site and / or studio.

If your reservation was made online with pre-payment and you wish to cancel, a refund can only be given with 28 day’s notice in writing with a booking fee of $30 applicable.

If you have paid any amount, then we can:

Transfer the whole amount to another date or into your client account to use at a later date within 12 months.

We expect guests to be kind, respectful and to thoroughly enjoy their stay.

To help with this are some simple housekeeping points:

• Please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 7am. Upsetting your neighbours with raucous behaviour in the noght often leads to a walk of shame the next morning.
• Drive 8km or less whilst in the park, lots of kids around!
• Take care of the natural environment.
• We have installed our own wastewater treatment system here at PGBHP. This system is sensitive to chemicals (especially caravan toilet cassettes) and so we do not have a dump point on site. Capel has a custom built Dump point located at the playground on Buchanon Rd, just off Capel Drive.
• Although you may request a certain site or studio for your stay these are not guaranteed. Rebooking for subsequent years ensures you have a reservation for the requested dates however it does not guarantee you have a requested site/studio.
• Although our sites are large, we advise one car per site and use the overflow parking for extra vehicles and boats. Cars parked on road edges are very annoying for other guests. Please place all your belongings on your designated site.
• There is no smoking in shared areas such as kitchens, playgrounds and BBQ areas.
• PGBHP has many grassed areas for camping and playing.These take time and effort to maintain, there is sometimes noise associated with this maintenance, however, we try very hard to minimise this. As the grass is pretty lovely, tarps and coverings that are not friendly to the grass are not to be used. We recommend the ‘grass friendly’ mats.
• The nature playground is a shared space for young and old children where parents should keep an eye on their family. It is a space to be enjoyed after sunrise and before sunset.
• Bikes are encouraged in Peppy, but helmets are to be worn to protect our young ones.
• Studios should be left in a satisfactory state with no damage or a cleaning fee will be charged.
• The only access to the beach (and the rest of town) is via the main entrance to the caravan park.
• After hour call outs (except for emergencies) are not advisable as this encroaches on precious family time. After hours calls such as lost keys for studios, will incur a $50 call out fee.

If we feel that you are not doing your best to show respect, we will ask you to leave. Thank you.
